How To Have Multiple Servers On I IP

Just a quick tutorial on how to get multiple servers from one router/ip, lets go directly into it:

Merely To Clarify

The port 25565 is Non the only port you can use for Minecraft, this is the DEFAULT port for Minecraft, not the only one. So aslong as a port isn't used, it tin can be used for anything, currently im using port 25566 for my 2nd server. Im non going to slow downwards for those who dont understand what im talking nigh, because if you've set up ane server, you should be able to do some other.

Setting Up

Each router has different settings and interface, im using Netgear, and if your not, you'll take to figure out what to do on your router yourself. Anyway, log into your router and go into services (or whatsoever its called on your router) and create a new service. Call information technology something easy (say Minecraft2) and make the showtime and finish port a unused port of your choice, to make the tutorial easier im personally going to exist using port 25567, make the type TCP/UDP and the start and finish port 25567. At present get into your Firewall Rules and add another Outbound Service, select the service you just created, and select Permit Always, leave everything else blank. Heres a picture:

Now create a inbound service, select the service you created, and put in 'Send To Lan Server' as 192.168.0.ane, which should exist your routers ip, if your routers ip is different and then 192..., and so thats up to you to gear up, because if you've created ane server, you know what your doing. Leave everything else blank. Heres a picture show:

Now create ANOTHER inbound service, do the same as earlier, except this time put in 192.168.0.X, this is your ipv4 adress, the 10 can vary. To discover out your computers ipv4 adress simply use google. At present click utilize and you should be set to create a server!

Creating The Server

Now you need to create the server, create a binder and call information technology any you want, say 'Minecraft4'. In at that place download minecraft_server.jar ( www.minecraft.net/download.jsp ) and put it in the folder and run it. Logging In

Finally log in to your server using your own computers ip (yous can find this out on whatsmyip.org) then put :25567 after it, i.e 12.34.567.890:25567. Yous MUST accept the port infront of it, due to the fact that you already have ii servers, and minecraft will get confused with to two. Now all thats left to practise is expand your server and share it, accept fun!
